Your room will be ready from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Check-out on departure day is by 11:00 a.m.
If you expect to arrive after 7:00 p.m., please let us know in advance.
Should you arrive before 3:00 p.m., you’re welcome to relax in our bar area or on the sun terrace.
Please note that our kitchen team takes a lunch break, so no lunch service is available at that time.
A late check-out is possible at short notice and subject to availability for €30.00 per person, including use of the sauna area. This additional service cannot be reserved in advance.
We use a flexible pricing system: the earlier you book, the better your room rate. Prices may slightly adjust as occupancy increases.
Tip for flexible travellers: the best-value months for your stay are January, March, and November. If you can travel during these times, you’ll benefit from our most attractive rates.
In May and June, the mountain lifts of Skiworld Ahrntal are included in the room rate, offering an excellent added value.

Cancellations made up to 21 days before arrival are free of charge. The deposit of 30% of the total amount will be refunded.
If you cancel or partially cancel your stay 20 days or less before arrival, the deposit will be retained in full or in proportion by the accommodation.
In case of late arrival, early departure, or no-show, we charge 100% of the booked stay. Cancellation fees are calculated based on the total booking amount.

During the two central weeks of August and over New Year’s Eve, bookings are only possible for a minimum stay of one week.
For the rest of the year, we’re more flexible.
If your desired dates appear as not bookable online, please contact us directly – there’s often the perfect little gap that fits your plans!
Our car park is located directly in front of the hotel, and there are also public free parking spaces nearby. Please note that no covered parking is available.
For your electric vehicle, a hotel-owned charging station is available (for a fee).

Please note that all indoor areas of the hotel as well as the outdoor spa areas are non-smoking zones. We kindly ask you to use the hotel terrace in front of the bar area for smoking, rather than the room balcony whenever possible.
Yes, a local tourist tax applies. It amounts to €2.90 per person per day (for guests aged 14 and over) and is added to your hotel bill.

The digital South Tyrol Guest Pass already includes free use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol – from the moment of your arrival. This includes local buses, ski buses, and regional trains.

If you plan to arrive by train, your destination station is Bruneck (Brunico).
The north–south line runs via Innsbruck – Brenner – Brixen (Bressanone) – Bolzano, while the east–west line runs via Lienz – San Candido (Innichen) – Bruneck – Brixen.
The usual transfer station is Brixen (Bressanone). From Bruneck, you can continue your journey by bus (line 450) or taxi.
Please note:
From 15 December 2024 to 26 January 2026, the rail line between Franzensfeste and Bruneck will be closed for modernization works. During this period, a replacement bus service will ensure connections between Brixen and Bruneck.
Last mile distances:
Brixen train station → Bruneck: replacement bus, approx. 50 minutes (every 30 minutes)
Bruneck → St. Jakob in Ahrntal (bus stop “Wollbachgisse”): bus line 450, approx. 50 minutes (every 15 minutes)
The Ahrntal Valley bus line 450 (Bruneck – Sand in Taufers – Kasern) runs every 15 minutes from Monday to Friday during summer, and every 30 minutes on weekends.
In winter and low season, buses still operate regularly at least every 30 minutes in both directions.
Plan your route
car is not absolutely necessary during your stay. Many hiking trails start directly from the hotel, and public transport connections are excellent.
The bus stops (on the main road) are just a short walk away, and buses run every 15 or 30 minutes, depending on the season.
For guests with limited mobility, we recommend arriving by car to ensure maximum flexibility and comfort.

If you book bed and breakfast for your entire stay in advance, you’ll receive a reduction of €25.00 per person per day.
For maximum flexibility, guests who have booked bed and breakfast can add half board on a daily basis for €30.00 per person.
For organizational reasons, à la carte dining is not available.
The evening restaurant is only accessible to external guests in exceptional cases and subject to availability.
A small fridge and/or a kettle can be provided in your room upon request.
There is no air conditioning in the hotel – instead, we rely on the natural freshness of the mountain air.
In the rooms of the modern extension, a continuous ventilation system ensures an optimal indoor climate.
For safety reasons, the large panoramic windows cannot be opened; please use the balcony door for ventilation when needed.
During the few hot periods of midsummer, we recommend keeping curtains and windows closed during the day and airing the room well in the early morning and evening.
For organizational reasons, we are unable to guarantee a specific room number or floor. However, we will do our best to accommodate your preferences whenever possible.

Unfortunately, we do not have a pool at Bühelwirt.
As an alternative, we offer free admission to the “Cron 4” swimming pool in Reischach (Acqua area) as well as to the natural bathing pond in Sand in Taufers, which is open from mid-June to early September.

Although we do not offer guided hikes ourselves, we are happy to provide you with numerous tips and recommendations for unforgettable tours in the area. In addition, you can benefit from discounted participation in the diverse weekly program of the local tourism association.
All of our guests can use the Skiworld Ahrntal cable cars (uphill and downhill rides) free of charge in May and June.
Unfortunately, we do not have E-Bikes for rent on-site, but in the nearby village of Steinhaus, just about 3 km away, you can rent E-Bikes at Hofer.
The two ski areas Klausberg and Speikboden, together with the village lifts in Weißenbach and Rein in Taufers, form the Skiworld Ahrntal. A single ski pass allows you to explore over 74 km of slopes, while 21 lifts at altitudes from 950 to 2,510 meters take you up the mountain. Thanks to comprehensive snowmaking facilities, Skiworld Ahrntal guarantees 100% snow reliability.
About 30 km away is South Tyrol’s largest ski area – Kronplatz. With 116 km of slopes and 32 lifts, it offers endless fun on the pistes.
One of the most scenic ski tours is the famous Sellaronda. The ideal starting point is Corvara, around 60 km away. Complete the loop around the Sella Massif in one day and experience unforgettable moments.
Yes, the Ahrntal is an excellent region for cross-country skiing and offers a wide range of options for all levels of difficulty. It is known for its reliable snow conditions and well-prepared trails.
The trail in Kasern, at the end of the valley, is considered one of the most beautiful in the entire Alpine region and is probably the most famous in the area. With a length of around 10 km, it is fairly challenging. Conveniently, cross-country equipment can be rented directly on site.
In Rein in Taufers, at an altitude of 1,500 meters, you will find four different trails ranging from 3 to 15 km, offering various levels of difficulty. Equipment rental is also available here.
Our new yoga room offers plenty of space for regular retreats, personal practice sessions, or meditation. Our yoga equipment (mats, blocks, and meditation cushions) is ready for you.
We are bringing even more yoga into our house and now offer our guests two free yoga classes per week.
